Announcing the new Top of the Rock ® Viewfinder iPhone App.

Get the most out of your visit to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck.

Using state of the art technology, the application features a virtual viewfinder that guests can use to find information about points of interest seen from the deck’s 360-degree view including The Empire State Building, Central Park, Yankee Stadium, the Chrysler Building and the Statue of Liberty, in addition to many others.  The application’s viewfinder allows guests to line up their phones with specific points of interest visible from Top of the Rock and use the phone’s touch screen to find extra information onover 30landmarks.

In addition to the viewfinder, the application will offer general information about Rockefeller Center’s shopping and dining offerings and a photo filter program that allows photographers to give images time period finishes including black and white or sepia tone. 

The application is available for use on iPhones with a version for Android devices expected to be launched later this year.
